From Asia The Gem Shop has rock available from India, Indonesia and Turkey.

The Gem Shop has imported rock from several countries in South America, including Argentina, Brazil, and Peru. Our latest 'finds' include the old stock of Polyhedroids from Brazil. This rock was mined in the 1970s and has been in storage for many years. Our supply is limited and can not be replaced since the deposit in Brazil is depleted.

The Gem Shop also has plenty of rock formed in the good ol' United States... although it probably started to form long before any part of it was called that. These rocks includes many of the scenic picture jaspers of the northwest.

The Gem Shop rock lots are made to be as equal as possible. They are created to give each customer as fair a chance at the best selection of the material as possible. It also allows them to be priced lower than material where selection is allowed.

The tumbling material is an assortment of rocks and gems that are sized for tumbling. To see a list of available tumbling machines, various grits, and other tumbling supplies please visit the Lapidary Equipment page.
