Working at Howard University has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. I always wanted to attend and work at Howard because of the things I heard about it while living in Guyana. Being able to see the foundation of young African Americans growing into our future Presidents, leaders and politicians is an inexplainable feeling. Working here over the past 12 years has played an integral role in my life because I am able to give back to the African American community and to be among great researchers at an HBCU.
